We are excited to announce that we reached our goal for our 2021 Annual Backpack Drive. The children in our program return to in-person learning this year with the tools necessary to have a successful school year.
We want to thank our partners that played a role in reaching our goal including the Sydney Paige Foundation, a local non-profit that helps empower students to succeed by providing equal access to the tools and confidence needed to learn and thrive in school and in life. We collaborated with them to help us collect and deliver over 400 backpacks for the children in our programs and to make an essential impact to end the cycle of poverty and homelessness in our community. Hope Solutions provides academic support, which includes assistance with homework, life skills, and a variety of academic enrichment activities to encourage students to continue school. 100% of students in our youth enrichment program advance to the next grade level and the backpacks make all the difference!
