Carrie Veurink
Development & Community Outreach Manager
Carrie is originally from Oregon and resides in Pleasant Hill with her husband, two daughters, and a new puppy. She has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology & Environmental Studies from Whitman College. In her free time, she’s training for her next triathlon and enjoys family and their many activities including softball, soccer, track, music lessons, skiing, and hiking.
Carrie is inspired by the clients Hope Solutions’ serves. In a recent conversation with a resident, she learned about their journey of being unhoused and their incredible gratitude for being able to pay their rent. Carrie is also motivated by our Resident Empowerment Program (REP) leaders who share their personal stories of being homeless, advocate for affordable housing, and empower their neighbors. In her work, Carrie is passionate about connecting people to be a part of Hope Solutions’ success.
