Born and raised in Oakland, Monica resides in East Contra Costa County with her husband of thirty-two years. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, trying new recipes, embroidering, and swimming. Her number one favorite thing to do is spending time with her grandson.

Monica remembers a client who was employed but sleeping in her car with her two young children because she could not afford the deposit for an apartment. The smile when her client received the keys to her new apartment and how she described her sense of relief is what drives Monica. She imagines all our clients feeling the same way, so she keeps working to help give that sense of relief to our families.
