Celebrating Community Partnership

On May 16, 2024, Antioch community and faith leaders, along with Hope Solutions Resident Empowerment (REP)Program team gathered to celebrate the Antioch Partnership for the Bay’s Future (PBF) Grant team.

PBF Celebration

For the last two years, the Antioch PBF team has implemented a PBF Policy Grant to spur affordable housing production on faith-owned land, increase housing diversity, and elevate community voices.

The team’s final objective is to leave behind a legacy of community-government collaboration by creating two different community organizing networks.

Attendees with ties to Antioch worked together at the celebration to co-create final steps, including 1) a Faith Leader Advisory that provides the moral imperative to drive policy change, 2) a Community Voices Advisory that equips government staff with diverse perspectives, and 3) a Resident Empowerment Program that elevates the voices of people with lived experience.
