Volunteers have been at the heart of Hope Solutions since day one. From the first group of congregations who founded Contra Costa Interfaith Housing, to current day retirees, professionals and students, our volunteers are critical to our ability to support our residents.
After School Support: Tutor a student at one of our on-site after school programs in Bay Point, Concord, Pleasant Hill or Pittsburg. Volunteer to make a difference in a child’s life by helping them with their reading and math skills. If you are interested please start by completing this form.
Resident Dinners or BBQs: Come together to share a meal with our community. Sign up here!
Resident Move-Ins: Prepare a unit for a new resident moving into Garden Park Apartments. Volunteer to make a unit a home by collecting furnishings, delivering, and staging a new home.
Workshops: Host a financial, cooking, or other life skill workshop. Volunteer to share your knowledge and empower others. Email Sandibel Arnold to learn more.
Backpack Drive: Equip a child for a successful school year. Donate to our annual backpack drive to provide the necessary materials for the children in our programs.
Spirit of Giving: Give the gift of giving. Sponsor a family during the holidays to help create special memories that will last a lifetime.
Seasonal Celebrations: Celebrate spring and fall with Spring Baskets and Jack-O-Lantern grams. Donate a Spring Basket or Halloween goody bag to brighten a child’s day.
Donation Drives: Host a “Hope Drive” to provide essential items for families. We are always in need of diapers, ready to go move-in kits, hygiene products, or welcome baskets to support the families at Hope Solutions.
