Year-Around Volunteer Opportunities
Homework Club
Help close the achievement gap and set students up for success by becoming a Homework Club volunteer at one of our four Homework Clubs located in Pleasant Hill, Concord, Pittsburg, and Bay Point. To ensure consistency, we ask for a commitment of one day/week for the school year. Orientation and training is provided.
To begin this process, click here to complete an application. An interview and reference check will follow. Volunteers will be asked to pass a TB test and Live Scan background check.
If you’d like to drop-off donations, please contact Sandibel Arnold, Volunteer and Donations Coordinator at sarnold@hopesolutions.org.
Social Events
Social events are an important part of the stability and health of our communities. By providing a nutritious meal, you are helping to nourish and encourage residents to become self-sufficient and better their lives. Opportunities include a monthly resident dinners, seasonal activities (such as a holiday party), and summer barbecues. Click here to learn more!
