Debbie Purcell

Growing up in Oakland, as the daughter of a local city council member, Debbie saw the impact of community partnerships from a young age. She often joined her mother as she visited and spent time in local congregations of all faiths. This foundation brought her to community work, after spending the first part of her career in the corporate sector. She is inspired by the power of the Hope Solutions’ mission to make systematic change to our community’s housing problems and the generosity of the community in supporting our efforts.

Debbie loves living in Contra Costa County with her husband, two teens and rescue mutt. She loves trying new recipes and getting outdoors.
