Bringing Joy and Community to Those in Need: Springtime at Hope Solutions
At Hope Solutions, every day is a step towards realizing our vision: a world where everyone has a place to call home and the support of a caring community. We’re proud to share the highlights of the past several weeks filled with joy, connection, and giving, all made possible by the incredible generosity of our volunteers and donors.
Garden Park Apartment (GPA) Resident Dinner provided by the DeWeese Family: The DeWeese family warmed hearts and stomachs at GPA with a St. Patrick’s themed dinner, featuring traditional favorites like corned beef and cabbage. It was a night of delicious food and meaningful connections, reminding us of the importance of coming together as a community.
Spring Carnival with National Charity League(NCL) Acalanes: The second annual Spring Carnival was a day filled with laughter and excitement. Teen volunteers set up a variety of games, ensuring every child had the chance to win prizes. From an egg hunt to a special visit from the Easter Bunny, the day was a celebration of childhood joy.
KidFest with Lafayette Orinda Presbyterian Church(LOPC): LOPC hosted the annual KidFest Carnival treating the kids to a day of fun and creativity. From enjoying a Skipolinis lunch to playing games outdoors, the children reveled in the simple pleasures of childhood. And who could forget the highlight of the day: making slime together, a messy and magical experience that brought smiles to every face.
Easter Dinner Baskets donated by Danville Congregational Church (DCC): As Easter approached, the spirit of giving continued to shine bright. Representatives from DCC delivered 20 Easter Dinner Baskets, each one carefully curated to provide a complete meal for a family in need. It was a gesture of compassion that touched the hearts of everyone involved.
Lastly, thanks to the kindness of our supporters like you, we
received a staggering total of 227 donated spring baskets for the children in
our programs. From St. Perpetua to LOPC to TAPS, organizations and
individuals rallied together to ensure every child felt cherished. Our
community’s generosity reached our clients throughout the county, spreading joy
far and wide.

gratitude.
Your dedication and kindness have created moments of joy and
connection for the clients in our programs. Together, we’re building not just
