Students participated in several camps led by volunteers this summer. The camps offered engage a variety of interests: from science to dance, guitar lessons to sailing. Volunteers gave their time and resources to enrich the lives of our students by teaching new skills, offering unique experiences, and supporting academic efforts. Local artist, John Barry, invited students in east county to engage in an innovative art project this summer. Using bicycles, roller skates, and scooters, students wheeled and scooted paint over a 12×7 canvas. The result was an eclectic colorful display that showcased the creativity and hard work of the students over the four-day camp. Hope Solutions is truly grateful to all our volunteers that continue to invest their time and talent with our students.
