On Friday, September 18, nearly 100 people gathered to celebrate the progress on Village of Hope – Pittsburg. This new 15-cottage community will provide safe, stable housing and supportive services for young adults ages 18–25 experiencing homelessness.
The project is a partnership with Pittsburg Church of the Nazarene, which is generously donating the land at 5407 Kirker Pass Rd in Pittsburg. It’s a partnership built on shared responsibility: the church is providing the land while Hope Solutions will provide professional property management and on-site supportive services including case management, education and employment support, mental health services, and life-skills development.
