Leading with Purpose: Hope Solutions at 2026 Conferences Advancing Housing & Equity

Part of our ongoing commitment to ending homelessness and poverty includes not only advocating for change but ensuring we are active participants in shaping new solutions. As Hope Solutions continues our mission to end homelessness and strengthen pathways to stability, our dedication to innovation, collaboration, and empowerment remains at the heart of our work. Recently, our staff and leadership participated in several key conferences, furthering their knowledge, sharing experiences, and fostering collaborations to drive systemic change across California and nationwide.

Housing California Conference
At this year’s Housing California Conference, leaders and advocates gathered to explore bold strategies for addressing the housing crisis and advancing equity statewide. The sessions focused on the evolving needs of low-income Californians, advocacy opportunities, and creating sustainable, community-driven solutions that make affordable housing accessible for all. Represented by Hope Solutions staff and members of our Resident Empowerment Program, our team brought back valuable insights to strengthen our local homelessness response.

National Alliance to End Homelessness

Our team also attended the National Alliance to End Homelessness’ 2026 Leadership Summit, engaging with frontline providers, policymakers, researchers, and advocates. This gathering served as a crucial platform for sharing best practices, discussing innovative solutions, and fostering cross-sector collaboration.

Hope Solutions Director of Housing Navigation & Rapid Re-Housing, Tanya Ford-Goins, was invited to present on rapid rehousing and cross-sector collaboration, highlighting how partnerships between housing providers, healthcare systems, and local government can improve outcomes for families and individuals exiting homelessness. Presenting with two other service providers, the session was well-attended – with standing room only – drawing attendees representing organizations and public agencies across the country.

Following the conference, the NAEH invited Tanya to host a nationally attended educational “Office Hours” session focused on Rapid Rehousing. The session provided an open space for participants to ask questions, share ideas, and collaborate to troubleshoot challenges. Designed to build peer learning and knowledge sharing, Tanya represented Hope Solutions as an expert in the field, while supporting other service providers and advocates strengthen their local homelessness responses.

East Bay Women’s Conference

The East Bay Women’s Conference provided an invaluable opportunity for networking, inspiration, and empowerment. The event’s focus on courage, creativity, and collaboration closely aligns with Hope Solutions’ mission to empower individuals and transform systems to end homelessness. By participating in events like these, we work to strengthen our connection within the community, amplify its message of support and empowerment, and foster collaborations that transcend traditional boundaries. Thank you to Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce for making it possible for our staff to attend the conference

For Hope Solutions, attending conferences isn’t just about networking or staying updated with the latest trends; it’s about actively participating in shaping the future. Each event represents an opportunity to amplify our voice, share our experiences, and learn from others. By engaging with diverse stakeholders, advocating for systemic change, and empowering individuals, Hope Solutions continues to be a local leader in the fight to end homelessness. Our staff return from these conferences inspired and equipped with new insights – recommitted to building a future where homelessness is a thing of the past.
