Thanks to our community for setting a record this Holiday Season.

Neighbors from across Contra Costa County have come together to provide some holiday cheer to vulnerable families who have recently experienced homelessness.

Thanks to our community for setting a record this Holiday Season.

We were thrilled that, through generous donations of the local community we were able to provide gifts to a record 641 individuals, including over 350 children, that are part of our programs, said Deanne Pearn, Executive Director of Hope Solutions, “each year we are deeply touched by the kindness of strangers.”

Maria Esqueda, Case Manager in Support Services is one of the Hope Solutions staff members responsible for helping residents get the services they need and delivers the gifts. “Delivering holiday gifts to our families is one of the best parts of my job”, says Maria, “I really do enjoy seeing the smiles and joy on the residents’ faces.  They are really appreciative. The Thank You notes they write are touching.”
