We are thrilled to announce our 2023 Community Award winner, Sara Marsh, Hope Solutions Consulting Clinical Supervisor. This award recognizes Sara’s 15+ year commitment to the most vulnerable families in Contra Costa County and honors her leadership.
As the first clinician at Garden Park Apartments, Sara’s bold, creative leadership was invaluable to helping Hope Solutions grow from a small grass-roots organization serving 27 homeless families to become the premier non-profit providing permanent housing and support services to over 2,200 people in Contra Costa County.
“Sara was instrumental in building our service infrastructure in partnership with the residents at Garden Park Apartments,” said Deanne Pearn. “She didn’t come in with all the answers, but she facilitated the wisdom in the room and has led that way for her entire tenure at Hope Solutions working
with our community.”
Sara has been a monumental pillar to our community – from creating and building powerful relationships, to guiding and leading our staff in the difficult work we do everyday. She has greatly contributed to our ongoing success and growth while simultaneously helping build a more effective overall system of care in our County.
