Representing an important step forward for Hope Solutions, the agency announced that Bill Jones will be the new Vice President of Programs (VPP).
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the newly created position of VPP will provide strategic and operational leadership for all program areas at Hope Solutions.
As a key member of the senior management team, the VPP will shape and drive the organization’s overall strategy, ensuring programs align with our mission of ending homelessness and advancing social justice. With oversight of $20 million program budgets and a staff of 100 FTEs, the VPP will lead collaborative efforts in program development, operational excellence, knowledge management, and system influence.
Bill brings a depth and breadth of knowledge about Hope Solutions’ programs, staff, clients, and partners; and has been a big part of building the Hope Solutions culture of respect, humility, client-centered practice, and trauma-responsive services. Bill will be able to provide his excellent clinical, leadership, and administrative skills, all while maintaining a positive work culture and excellent client outcomes. In his 10 years with Hope Solutions, Bill has proven to be a compassionate, dependable, and effective leader of his programs, – as well as providing the whole organization support through his contributions to the Directors Team.
Bill began his time at Hope Solutions in 2015 as a clinical case manager at GPA. While there he started the Teen Club and the Mental Health Associate Intern program, and both programs are still happening today. He became a program director a few years later when he shepherded the transition of the ACCESS program to Hope Solutions. During his tenure here, he has been involved with the applications, implementation, and/or management of the following programs: GPA, ACCESS, MHSA, FISH, CE Navigation, HOPWA, CoC RAP, APS, Project HomeSAFE, El Portal Place, and our soon to be Hope Villages. Without his leadership, Hope Solutions would not be what it is today.
